Trekking Program in the Eastern High Atlas

1st day:

Tagoudite (1980m)-Ait Merzoug (2192m) After breakfast, departure for our first stage of hiking crossing the Berber villages whose traditional architecture, meeting a welcoming and smiling population, we stop to take pictures in a magnificent setting between fields and forest of cedar and holm oak, picnic lunch on the way and a stopover to rest, after we continue to Ait Merzoug where we will spend the night with the locals Stage of 6 hours of walking

2nd day:

Ait Merzoug (2192m)- Lemri (2050m) After the first stage, our Corps begins to get used to it, we begin our stage by crossing the beautiful gorges of tadrout (provide sandals) then exit towards the village of Assaka where we will have the possibility of having a little tea with the locals and getting in touch with the population of this beautiful region, picnic on the way and continuation to the village of Lemri where we will spend the night with the locals Stage of 6 hours of walking

3 rd day:

Lemri (2050m)-Tourha n’ait Moussa (2005m) Early departure by a winding path in the forest of cedar and holm oak, juniper, a region rich in fauna and flora, most of the inhabitants of the region live from breeding mainly and agriculture in terraced crops: wheat, barley, corn, potatoes, alfalfa for animals and the cutting of firewood and carpentry, a stop as usual is planned for lunch picnic and we continue our way to reach the few houses where we will spend the night with the locals Stage of 6 hour walk

4th day:

Tourha n’ait Moussa (2005)-Tagoudite (1980m) After having had our breakfast, we begin our walk again towards Tagoudite, we enjoy the landscapes and the pure air of the mountain and with the desire to stay in this magnificent setting far from civilization and pollution, we take our picnic in the amber of a tree before continuing our journey to find our cottage where we appreciate its little comfort after these nights with the locals, a hot shower and a good dinner

5th day:

Ascent of Jbel Masker (3265m) Depart early after breakfast to climb the summit of Jble Masker, the second high peak in the region after Jbel Ayachi (3737m); our effort is rewarded by the beautiful view of the valleys which will surprise us, after the photos and the rest break, we go down to the cottage, end of our hikes and Congratulations !!!
